IMHO the answer is no. \parenthesize doesn't allow the fine-tuning necessary to get good output with slanted text. It might sense, however, to improve the documentation, mentioning \parenthesize. -- Lemzwerg (talk) 06:17, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Knute, the change itself looks good, thanks. However, the form must be adjusted to follow the guidelines in Category:Included in the official documentation: only a single <lilypond> block is allowed for ‘official’ snippets. Please fix that. -- Lemzwerg (talk) 17:03, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
